India vs Australia, 1st Test, Day 4, Free Live Cricket Streaming
Day 3 went just as expected with few exceptions that India managed to pick some wickets and an gutsy declaration from ponting.I would bet my left eye that India must had never done that if they were in Aussies boots.
With two days left, practically there is no way match can end in draw unless Rain gods take over. It would be interesting to see the approach taken by Indian batsman, especially the top order(Dravid/Jaffer) who are the ones who had put India in back seat playing slow(pathetic) cricket as if Aussies had scored 700 odd batting first and India had no choice except to play the rest of 4 days.
Many experts had ruled out Indian chances of winning or saving but this is cricket and miracles do happen. If India wins the match then it will be the world record for the highest winning score in 4th innings which was previously held by West Indies against Aussies and how can cricket fans forget that match. Ramnaresh Sarwan was unnecessary provoked by Aussies and he won the game for Windies. If India had to win, someone need to play a similar innings in next couple of days.

@Aussie fan before 2003 I used to hate Aussies and especially Hayden…now I’m fan of both and I love to watch Hayden dancing down the track and hit bowlers out of park…they are the only team which lives upto the name of champions.
@Sirvel, looks like you are impressed with Skyports Ad

Dravid-10runs from 74 BALLS!!!! hahahha
December 29th, 2007 at 12:41 am
Dravid is having fun….I honestly feel sorry for Aussie bowlers. BTW he scored one more run and chances are very less of breaking own record of 13 of 114 balls.
December 29th, 2007 at 12:42 am
Well I guess Dravid is doing what India needs at the moment ! Indian fan’s abusing won’t help INDIA TEAM for sure
December 29th, 2007 at 12:45 am
@boy, I’ve to agree with you ….but 1st innings it was not the case.

ah yes, i can see the CBN channel now - it is up and running… how unfortunate :((
December 29th, 2007 at 2:41 am
every indian batsman has made up his mind… to shit on the pitch
December 29th, 2007 at 2:42 am
worst performance in history, ind should be put out of their misery today. Aus should finish it off today.
December 29th, 2007 at 2:42 am
@gz, they lost the match on Day 2 itself after batting collapse…there is no way they could have comeback from there against Aussies.
December 29th, 2007 at 2:45 am
@ the game, everytime I hope someone will play but it never happens… even experienced players play like college boys.
December 29th, 2007 at 2:45 am
no use imagining to play. should throw in the towel, put their tails between their legs and head home. 4-0 white wash. india will never win an away series ever!!
December 29th, 2007 at 2:51 am
I don’t expect them to win against mighty Aussies but I expect them not to play this kind of Cricket with star studded batting line up which hurts millions of people and many even won’t sleep properly to watch their heroes play and almost every match played away turns out to be disaster.
December 29th, 2007 at 3:00 am
Tendulkar should be dropped once in his career. Then only he will commit to playing and sticking on to his wicket, not play any loose shots at all.
December 29th, 2007 at 3:04 am
499 to win in 2 days, if u know it is not possible might as well tell yourself, i will play slow cautiously and hit a 200.
December 29th, 2007 at 3:09 am
Cricket should be banned in India… we have too many people starving without food, let’s attend to them first.
Jay hind!
December 29th, 2007 at 3:11 am
Sangakkara played a gem of an innings under very similar circumstances around one month back. Send Tendulkar, Dravid & company for lessons over to Sri Lanka.
December 29th, 2007 at 3:18 am
@Seruppu, Unfortunately all these players have better records than Sangakkara and always choked under pressure
December 29th, 2007 at 3:19 am
nevertheless 499 in 4th innings is too much to ask for!!
December 29th, 2007 at 3:22 am
@Game, Yes .. what’s a record worth if you don’t deliver when the situation most demands it! We have too many sheep dressed as tigers in the Indian camp!
December 29th, 2007 at 3:22 am
@Game ..
Why not beg the Aussies to reduce it a bit?
December 29th, 2007 at 3:26 am
@seruppu lolz mate…but Aussies are too tough to be beaten!! Even if they had declared with 400 target, the result would have been same.
December 29th, 2007 at 3:31 am
India plays cricket to make its poor forget its misery and be ‘high’ - as in Hashish High.
December 29th, 2007 at 3:35 am
looks like Gang and Lax will take us to at least 440
December 29th, 2007 at 3:38 am
Clark to Laxman, OUT, short of a good length, outside the off stump, this one grips the pitch a touch, Laxman drives uppishly without getting anywhere near the pitch of the ball. It’s up in the air and straight to Clarke at cover. The Clark-Clarke combination does the trick and India lose yet another very big wicket
i take it back .. Gang and Yuv will take us to at least 460 ..
December 29th, 2007 at 3:38 am
right that will come true when pigs fly
December 29th, 2007 at 3:39 am
The pig Ganguly is about to fly soon!
December 29th, 2007 at 3:43 am
Guys…you may hate them but don’t use abusive language for the players.

December 29th, 2007 at 4:03 am
next time Yuvrag bats, he should bring his own umpire!
December 29th, 2007 at 4:20 am
is it just me or the indian batsman do seem to be completely out of confidence. They are not playing their natural game. Only sachin seemed confident, actually over-confident which is why he got out. They better work on it for next test. and (as much as i hate to say it) their fielding is hopeless… this game is done… hopefully series is still on.
December 29th, 2007 at 4:27 am
How r all u Indian fans???
Hopeless!!!
No Offense though, I m an Aussie fan and wanted India to lose
So, no hard feelings!!!
December 29th, 2007 at 4:35 am
@somedude, they are not out of confidence or over confident….they were never good away and few matches were disasters for India and we can add this also to the list.
December 29th, 2007 at 4:39 am
@I, its not as bad as losing to teams like pakistan, england(Oh yeah they won the series against both of them recently
)
December 29th, 2007 at 4:51 am
India 144 / 6
December 29th, 2007 at 4:52 am
Johnson to Dhoni, OUT, got him this time, Dhoni repeats the shot of a few balls ago, slashing a drive away from his body and Gilchrist takes a good catch, low, off the thick edge
December 29th, 2007 at 4:54 am
Speechless with Indian approach and batting !!
December 29th, 2007 at 4:57 am
Brett Lee will be the man of the match!!!
December 29th, 2007 at 4:58 am
Indian fans no offense
December 29th, 2007 at 5:02 am
Hogg’s over
66.6 Hogg to Ganguly, no run, a strong defence on the front foot, right over the ball
66.5 Hogg to Ganguly, no run, pushed into the covers now
66.4 Hogg to Kumble, 1 run, worked out into the covers to bring up the 150
Gilchrist has a helmet on, and sunglasses
66.3 Hogg to Kumble, no run, pushed into the covers this time
66.2 Hogg to Kumble, no run, well bowled again, deceiving Kumble into driving out at it, the ball turning out, though
66.1 Hogg to Kumble, no run, pitches outside and spins right back in, the batsman popping down just in front of short leg
December 29th, 2007 at 5:03 am
@The Game why don’t you put the vcricket scorecard on this webpage because it is the quickest!
Just advisin’ you know!!!
December 29th, 2007 at 5:05 am
Hi,Everyone
December 29th, 2007 at 5:11 am
hi Rox
December 29th, 2007 at 5:13 am
India 157 / 7
December 29th, 2007 at 5:13 am
Johnson to Kumble, OUT, got him this time! Johnson deserved that wicket having worked him over, this one swinging back in to him and taking his edge on the way through
December 29th, 2007 at 5:16 am
India 157 / 9
December 29th, 2007 at 5:17 am
Hogg to Ganguly, OUT, outstanding work from Australia, Ganguly worked the ball to cover where Hussey returns well, Singh was backing up a mile and tried to get back in at the bowler’s end but Hogg took it well and gave the two-handed shovel onto the stumps
December 29th, 2007 at 5:19 am
Hogg to Ganguly, OUT, and that’s three wickets in four deliveries, Ganguly trapped in front of middle stump, trying to play defensively on the front foot
December 29th, 2007 at 5:19 am
158 / 9
December 29th, 2007 at 5:19 am
Atleast folks in Europe can sleep well tomorrow
December 29th, 2007 at 5:21 am
How do you actually find these links colly? (I’m new to Sopcast - But loving it!)
December 29th, 2007 at 5:24 am
Aussies will win indian fans no offense
December 29th, 2007 at 5:49 am
why ppl r writing so bad bout india and sachin??
this is a sport..u should be brave enough to accept the defeat, and writing or speaking from outside is different and performing out there is different..
they didnt commit that they will win the series..its we fans who r expecting so much…we should acknoledge ausi performance..i m positive and sure that india will bounce back..we should not forget that they had only 1 practice game that was also washed out..and positive from this match is out bowling.. BE POSITIVE FRIENDS..DONT B NERVOUS
December 29th, 2007 at 6:09 am
and coming to sachin tendulkar,
in the 1st ing he performed well…but dont forget he is also a human, he can also get out. its not good to say drop him or he is getting old etc.everytime he gets … keep at least some room to correct your statement so that instead of becoming speechless, u can change it when he performs.
