After losing to India 2-0 in 4 match Test series ( probably that’s their worst test series defeat ), Aussies will be looking forward to win this 2 match test series against New Zealand comprehensively to forget the India series as soon an as they can.
Even though Team India showed how to defeat Aussies, it’s not going to be an easy task for Kiwis defeating Aussies at home and it will require a lot of work.
Well it remains a distant dream for Bangladesh to win a test match, their best bet was winning ODI which they could not manage to win. Bangladesh will play 2 match test series and Proteas will be looking to win test series as as well.
Still long way to go in ODI series and if anyone start to feel that England is no contest, then don’t be and wait for at least another couple of matches. England is a decent team with best all rounders in business and they will not let it (series) so easily. Both the teams have fitness concerns from beginning of the series and England has got some good news with Sidebottom available for selection while India may miss Yuvraj in this match who suffered back strain during 1st match. Ishant will miss this game also and no news about his recovery.
Not sure how many would like one sided matches like previous one and definitely I’m not the one who prefers one sided matches but that’s okay once in a while, when you can watch an awesome innings like Yuvi’s century.
Both the teams are fired up and raring to go at each other for the last final after all the incidents that took place in 1st two finals ( sledging, arguing with umpires etc., ). Can Hyderabad Heroes defend their championship this time by defeating Lahore Badshahs team studded with big players who have been in this situation many times in their career.
With series won already Pakistan has nothing to lose but West Indies has pride at stake and one need to appreciate Pakistan’s cricket in 1st two matches.

India has just defeated world champions Australia 2-0 in 4 match test series few day back and not without much of rest, they are back to take on England, who defeated South Africa 4-1 a month ago in 5 match ODI series. Both teams are scheduled to play 7 ODI’s and 2 Tests during next 50 days with a break between ODI and Test series for Champions League.
This will be the first International tour for Kevin Pietersen as captain and will be a real test for England (and KP). England team will be under pressure even though they are not ready to confess after their humiliating defeat other day and will look forward to forget that by registering a win here today. Also England would like to use this tour to agree on set of players who will be part of Ashes next year as they don’t have much of International cricket to prepare themselves for Ashes next year apart from West Indies tour of England next year, so this tour will be very important for them.
Team India has delivered good results in ODI after Dhoni took over the captaincy from Dravid and climbing up the rankings and series win might help them to move two places higher in ICC rankings. Also It will be a good contest between two captains KP and Dhoni.
I wish we will have a competitive series which will not only lift the game but keep all of us tuned to live cricket channels and live cricket streams.

Both Lahore Badshahs and Hyderabad Heroes performed better than any other team in last few matches (Which matter) and they deserve to be in Finals. Both will play best of 3 over next few days to decide ICL Champions. Somehow I don’t like the concept of best of three matches to decide series as I believe Champion should never lose.
Both teams have a balanced team and even though Lahore Badshahs might look a better team on papers, don’t write off Hyderabad Heroes who won the ICL last year. Hope both teams continue to play good cricket through out the finals and entertain us like they did during previous matches.

After couple of canceled cricket tours (Champions Trophy Cricket Series 2008 and Australia Tour of England ), Pakistan will be seen again in action against West Indies who are without sponsors for this series(Mostly because of short notice). Pakistan and West Indies will play 3 match ODI series in Abu Dhabi starting today.
Most of the Windies players are now millionaires after winning Stanford and you will see many of them today playing here, Pakistan team will be now under a new management which promised to show improvement and put Pakistan cricket on right track. Many thought Shoiab Akhtar is back but he is down again with injury and may not feature in today’s match whom Chris Gayle thought is crucial for this game.
