It will be very hard for New Zealand to win match from here(184 required with 4 wickets in hand) after losing those couple of wickets in last few overs. It depends a lot on Taylor and Vettori’s now and with draw out of question, it will be interesting to see how Taylor and Vettori adjust their game.
At the moment Australia are favorites and they will be looking to finish the game before lunch

Oops looks like it started 30 mins early today, anyways South Africa is going to win this game and I seriously think ICC need to strip test status for Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Bangladesh have won one game so far in all the tests they played and that too against Zimbabwe. Rest all they have lost them, not even a single draw.

Absolutely no contest whatsoever in 1st ODI and I expect no difference today. Zimbabwe has degraded as a team, thanks to stupid politics taking over control.
Not sure how many SL fans will be happy watch this match but that’s okay Sri Lanka Board can make at least some money to come out of crisis after BCCI withdrew their offer to help after Ranatunga’s comments on IPL and BCCI.

Watching low scoring Test match after long time feels like both the teams are playing poor cricket 
and I think we need to play on green tracks more often to help bowlers also get credit and make game more balanced.

After watching test matches in India, 214 might look like a small and losing score but one need to understand the conditions are different. Generally subcontinent pitches are batsman friendly and that’s the reason most of the subcontinent team suffers when they tour to ANZ and England. Anyways coming back to game, Aussies could have done better than 214 by playing bit responsibly like they did on many occasions in past but that might be good enough 1st innings score if bowlers can do the job.
India already 2-0 up in the series and win here today for India will even further damage England prospects of making a comeback which is already looking dull with the form Indian players are in.
England quickly need to figure out a way to take wickets of key players like Sehwag, Gambhir and Yuvraj to be in this series.
We might see Ishant Sharma for India (I guess RP will sit out) and Swann for England today playing their first game in this series.
Bangladesh bowlers did a decent job with line & length and accuracy for first fifteen over but they lost it once SA batsman got settled and from then on it’s all South Africa show. I don’t think Bangladesh can fight but and if all they have not given up already then they should be looking forward to take couple of wickets in 1st session.
For a change Amla is scoring faster than Smith, it’s like Dravid scoring faster than Sehwag

What a one sided series this gonna be, Zimbabwe has even started to lose to teams like Kenya recently and I doubt if they can challenge Sri Lanka even in one match.
