Yesterday both the matches were interesting, In the first match Hyderabad let it slip when everyone thought it was all over for Bangalore and then in the second game, fight back from Knight Riders middle order. Hope today also we get to see good cricket.
Delhi DareDevils who are on top of IPL Points table gonna take on Mumbai Indians who are in last position. It’s still remains unclear if Sachin is fit to play and as per Pollock’s interview Sachin might not take field today as well but team management refused to comment on that and it was reported that final decission will be taken before the match. DareDevils would like to continue their winning streak and remain top on the IPL table.

Important match for Knight Riders who lost all the three games after winning first two games and at the moment on the 5th position on points table. If at all they win today they will move to 4th position as they have better Net Run Rate than Kings XI Punjab but Kings XI Punjab is going great guns and won all their last three matches and would like to carry the momentum. Can Knight Riders stop Kings XI and move up to 4th position today. After last match, Sourav captaincy will be under scanner and there will be pressure on him to perform with bat as well.

All the teams so far had completed 5 matches and Mumbai Indians, Bangalore Royal Challengers and Hyderabad Deccan Chargers are the only teams to register one win out of their five matches. Indian Premier League is still wide open with 9 matches remaining for each team and any thing is possible. I hope the teams at the bottom of the IPL points table realize that fight for their spot in semis.
Todays first match between Hyderabad Deccan Chargers and Bangalore Royal Challengers are important for both the teams and if Hyderabad wins they will retain their spot on points table and if Bangalore wins then Challengers will go up by two positions. Also both teams need to start concentrating on their NRR also as it can be determining factor if more than 1 team end up with same points.

I think its going to be a interesting contest and if we are lucky we might even see a close match unlike all other one sided matches over past one week between both Chennai Super Kings and Delhi DareDevils who are on 1st and 2nd position on points table respectively. Chennai Super Kings will be impacted most in absence of Aussies as they will miss Hussey and Hayden who contributed to two of their wins along with New Zealander Jacob Oram. For me Delhi DareDevils is the most balanced team of all with excellent bowling lineup and a decent batting line up.
Eagerly waiting to see how Chennai will perform in absence of three key players.

Important match for Hyderabad Deccan Chargers to stay alive in series, so far DareDevils and Super Kings are leading the points table and will probably end up in top two slots and with that all the other teams have to fight for the 3rd and 4th position to have a sigh at million dollar winning prize. Symmonds will be replaced with Gibbs, so actually not much of an impact for Deccan Chargers. Kings XI Punjab would like to win this one and move one up on points table to better thier chances and Oh yeah, Bret Lee will not be available which is a big loss Kings XI punjab has to deal with.
Gonna be a cracker I guess…..but what about cricket live links

I thought only weekends we have two matches but that seems to be wrong and we do have two matches today, first one between Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals and later between Kings XI Punjab and Deccan Chargers.
Kolkata Knight Riders seem to have started the series very well but after losing last couple of matches they moved to 4th position on points table just behind Rajasthan Royals and if they win game today they will be back to 2nd position behind Chennai as they have much better runrate than Delhi DareDevils and Rajasthan Royals. Now that Aussies have left, it would be interesting to see Kolkata team composition. Also Royals will be strengthened with Dimitri Mascarenhas, had watched this bloke over last couple of years in county and he is good bowler in T20 format especially at death and Warneeeee knows that very well and you know his batting skills anyway. Would be a interesting contest.

Royal Challengers made a mess of their last match against Chennai Super Kings which they could have won easily with the start they got and after that loss and yesterdays Mumbai Indians win against Knight Riders put them at bottom of points table and now they find themselves in a must win position in all games from here on. Delhi DareDevils who are in third position on points table would love to win against Bangalore Royal Challengers who are relatively weaker side and move to second position. I would like to see Misbah playing this game, not sure whats running through Dravids mind but Misbah in current form is way better than any other player in their side.

After losing all the four matches Mumbai Indians are under tremendous pressure to register their first win. On the other hand Knight Riders would like to win today and forget their last match against Chennai and move forward. They already seem to be a definite contender for semis along with Chennai Super Kings. Sachin status still remains unclear and might miss this one as well and if Mumbai Indians lose today, then they can forget the rest of the Season as well. Will it be Mumbai Indians day today and can they beat Kolkata Knight riders in their den in front of 80K+ crowd.

Don’t know when these one sided matches gonna end but all 4 matches on weekend turned out to be totally one sided and looking at odds today also seem to be the same. We have to wait and see if Royal Challengers can prove the odds wrong today. Chennai Super Kings would love to win this one and still remain unbeaten and the way both the teams had played so far it should not be a big task for Chennai.

Kings XI Punjab all set to win the other game today against Delhi DareDevils. DareDevils could not recover after losing quick wickets early in the innings and failed to post a respectable score on this pitch to defend, though bowlers did a good job initally they failed to break partnership between Katich and Yuvraj who are still going strong.
Both the Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians need this win badly here and it will be all over for the losing team and they can start focussing for next season. Hopefully Sachin plays today and strengthen their batting lineup and also can be handy as spinner in the absence of Harbhajan who was suspended after allegedly slapping Sreesanth. Deccan Chargers need to sort out their top order batting woes and be bit sensible with bowling changes. I think it would be wise if Laxman seek support from Gilli before he makes any major decissions. Can’t say this will be a cracker but can say this is an important match.
