Crucial match for both the teams, mathematically both the teams are still in the race for semis and not only it depends on how they play but also it depends on how the other teams perform. Rajasthan and Punjab are the only teams so far who are confirmed to be in semis and the other two teams are yet to be decided. Chennai Super Kings opened up the tournament after losing an easy match yesterday against Royal Challengers, full credits to RC bowlers but Chennai could have won it easily.

Not sure how many will be interested in this game (Looking at the way Bangalore had played so far) but an important game for Chennai to be keep themselves in the race of semis (Most certainly they will make it to semis, unless something unexpected happens). Bangalore has nothing to lose and only thing on stake at the moment is pride and they would be looking forward to win this one against their neighbours.

Both Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab had played only 10 matches so far and have real good chance to be in semis. Mohali Kings XI Punjab need another couple of wins to cement their place in Semis while Mumnbai need another three wins to be comfortable, I guess two wins for Mumbai Indians will do if they can keep up their Run Rate above Delhi. Both the teams had played excellent so far and hopefully we will have a good contest between this two.

Must win match for Knight Riders to have a hope on Semi-finals berth. Even if Kolkata wins all their matches from now its not guaranteed that they will get into semis as Mumbai Indians might get through if they win two out of four matches. Knight Riders have a tough job in hands against confident unit Rajasthan Royals who are the only team confirmed to be in semis at this point of time. Also Kolkata should aim for better run rate and I believe they should approach their batting differently, all the while they have been trying to start steady and slow but which rarely worked out.

Must win match for Delhi DareDevils to make it to the semis and Bangalore Royal Challengers should not be a difficult side to beat in T20 format. Looks like Rajasthan, Punjab and Chennai will make it to semis and only one spot is left for grabs and if Delhi wants to be the 4th team they not only beat Bangalore but they need to beat them comprehensively and improve the Net Runrate.
Need to see how Bangalore Royal Challengers perform today and hope they won’t make it boring like they did other day. Hoping to see some competitive cricket.

Well finally they got to play full day yesterday and Vaughan century ensured that there is no way England can lose this match but the way New Zealand started off their 2nd innings, most likely it looks like it will end up in draw. Good thing is weather is similar to yesterday and we can expect to see 90 overs today (If captains decide to play).

What a comeback by Mumbai Indians after losing in row in initial stages of tournament. They are fighting their way back for the spot in semis and last match against Kolkata Knight Riders did wonders to their Net Run Rate, they are just next to Rajasthan Royals in Net Run Rate. If they can win today, they will most likely make it to semis looking at the way things are going for Delhi and Kolkata lately.
Deccan Chargers has nothing to lose, all they can do is entertain the crowd if possible and keep them ahead of Bangalore Royal Challengers as no wants to be last on the IPL Points table.
Hope we will get to see good cricket and hope Deccan Chargers wont make it boring like Royal Challengers yesterday

This is definitely the match of the day, who ever wins will move to the 3rd Position on points table(Unless Kolkata repeat similar performances like they did against Mumbai Indians, in which case Chennai will move to 2nd position). As we are approaching the end of preliminary stages, tournament is getting interesting with how fast fortunes of top 4 are changing. Only Rajasthan is a confirmed participant in Semis till now and rest 3 slots are open for grabs. Kolkata need to win today and win with decent Net Run Rate to better their chances. Chennai also need to win this one as badly as Kolkata to be on safer side and they also need to concentrate on Net Run Rate which could be the determining factor if things go wrong later.

Important match for both these teams and win for Delhi DareDevils here could help them to get back into the top 4(top 4 matters finally). Delhi DareDevils badly need a win today more than Kings XI Punjab as they are facing tough competition from Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Hope this one will be cracker unlike the other one today, never expected that one to be good match but miracles do happen so was with little hope.
