Who would have thought India will lose their 3 star batsman with in span of 15 runs after looking at the opening partnership. India started of very well with both openers reaching 50s by lunch time without losing any wickets and just when Sehwag start to take away the game from SL, Mendis did the trick of removing Gambhir and Dravid in quick sessions putting pressure back on India and veteran Vaas used the oppurtunity to remove Sachin and Sourav to add more pressure to them. All credits to SL for the way they have fought back and now India needs Laxman and Sehwag to be in middle as long as possible to reach anywhere around 350/400.
Lets hope rain stays away and we can get full play today, btw Match will start 30 mins early to compensate the time lost yesterday.

Nel has a point to prove and he utilised the oppurtunity very well on Day 1 to put proteas on top. England won the toss and got to a steady start and just few minutes before lunch Andre Nel’s double strike put the hosts on backfoot and could never recover. Cook and Bell’s fifty got them to a respectful total of 231 but that don’t seem to be enough on this track. England has early success with ball unlike tourists and are trailing by 193 runs at the end of Day 1. Early wickets today might help them and weather conditions might help bowlers a bit.

The way India lost the 1st test is totally unacceptable and it’s very sad that they could not handle spin duo. Most of the times India lost their 1st match, they fought back in the rest of the matches leveling or winning the series and all Indian fans must be praying for the same.
Both the sides will most likely go with unchanged team and pitch is expected to support the spinners. Can Indian batsman adopt different strategy to handle the spin duo of Sri Lanka.

England will be under tremendous pressure to save the series at home after losing the 2nd test. South Africa needs a win or a draw to seal the series while England need a win or a draw to level the series keep the series alive. (Sorry for the goof up, its a 4 match test series)
Sidebottom and Collingwood will be back in England side while Graeme smith is doubtful.

I kinda expected India will screw up the batting but never thought they will screw it up so badly. Its difficult for India to avoid follow-on with Kumble and Laxman at the crease and no other recognised batsman to come.
Murali and Mendis bowling in tandem made the difference and put loads of pressure on them and they lost the plot playing Murali as they were busy trying to protect themselves from Mendis. It should not be difficult task for Sri Lanka to run through the other wickets and enforce follow-on. Going to be a very difficult task for India to save this match from here though not impossible if they bat sensibly.

SL has dominated the 2nd day of 1st test with 3 three centuries in a day and just losing couple of wickets. It was a tough day for Indian bowlers who could not do much and poor fielding let them down too.
Sri Lanka should be looking forward to declare around lunch time (Scoring around 550) so that they will have enough time to let India bat twice to have a chance to win the 1st match. Anyways pitch looks dumb and should not be a big deal for India to ensure a draw here but with Mendis and Murali it’s bit difficult.

Not much of cricket on Day 1 because of constant rain for most part of the day but whatever the little cricket they had, India had done well to pick couple of wickets. Warnapura has scored well built 50 and Sri Lanka will be hoping for this guy to carry on to go for a big innings.
Lets hope rain keeps away and we get to see some cricket today.

Hello and welcome everyone to the cricket live links. If you are new to this blog, you can find all live cricket streaming links in comments and with that said we hope to cover all matches of India tour of Sri Lanka starting today. (3 Tests and 5 ODIs over next 40 days) like we did in past for all international cricket.
Lots of changes in India team this tour, Parthiv / Dinesh Karthik in place of Dhoni who opted to rest, Gambhir in place of Wasim Jaffer and Zaheer returns to the team again. Rohit Sharma and Pragyan Ojha also gets a chance.
Mendis is so much hyped by the media after Asia Cup final, we need to see if he can live up to it. This chap did well in Caribbean as well.

South Africa has real chance of winning this game and England is almost in the same position of saving the test match as South Africa were in the 1st test. I doubt if anyone can stand upto the ocassion and save test for England and if there are any like that then it has got to be Ian Bell and Kevin Pietersen. Interesting match on cards ahead and real test for England.

Thanks to Prince and De Villiers, South Africa are right on top of the game. Every England bowler must be surprised and furious with Pattinson selection and he did not make use of oppurtunity provided. He was just okay so far, not so good to be ignore other bowlers who have been playing so far.
Sorry folks we were not here yesterday but the links were working all the time and some losers made use of oppurtunity to defame us by posting rubbish on our names(ids colly and The Game), we have never been rude or mean or arrogant to anyone in last 18 months and we will never be and that’s how we run this site.
I hope you can make out is the poster really The Game or Colly (We will have our names hyper linked to this site) and moreover if we are here we will moderate comments properly.
