I’m not sure how many of you already heard this, but few news channels (NDTV) have aired this afternoon that Sourav signed up with Sky Sports and will be assuming the new role as Sky Sports commentator/Analyst for India vs England, 7 Match ODI series and 2 Match Test Series starting Nov 14th.
I’m not yet all surprised he signed up with sports channel as I knew he would get into commentary rather than analyst on news channel and I wish him all success. But I’m surprised that he is not willing to take break after what he has gone through in last three years of struggle and fight to get back into team.
I just hope this news is true so that I can watch Sourav Ganguly commentate along with Naseer Hussain and Michael Atherton whom sourav had rubbed on wrong side in the past and I think Sourav and Naseer pair will be much more fun to listen. Also news channels/website/print media must be happy as there are good chances that Sourav may make controversial statements while on job and they can increase their numbers.

I never thought this match will come so far and so close, I think only two results possible which are either team winning unless rain interrupts. Bangladesh need 8 wickets with 171 runs to defend and Kiwis need 172 runs to win this game and it’s all set for interesting finish.
About the live streaming links, I totally doubt after watching last 4 days trend

Team India right on top at end of day 4 and nothing seem to be stopping them from winning except rain(which is unlikely). India need another 5 wickets with a full day to go and with 2 good spinners on a day 5 pitch, it should not be difficult at all. With only 5 wickets in hand, I don’t think Aussies have any chance of either winning or defending for the entire day to take it for a draw.
If India wins, it will be a difficult job to judge Man of the Match when almost everyone has contributed.

Dhaka warriors are yet to win a match and today they will be playing against Delhi Giants who registered a win already. Kind of must win situation of Dhaka Warriors to have chances to go to the next round of the ICL Season 2.

Like the 1st two days, Day 3 also belonged to India. Aussies who resumed their innings on Day 4 seemed to be in control during the 1st hour of the game but later they started to lose wickets at regular intervals. With push from Watson and Bret Lee, they managed to score 268 which was not good enough to avoid follow-on but Dhoni had other plans and decided to bat 2nd innings and it turned out to be a good decision with opening pair partnership of 100 runs extending the lead 301 at end of Day 3.
India need to make sure they add another 150 runs to the total and declare early to give themselves enough time to pick 10 wickets.

Thanks to Shakib, Bangladesh now has a respectable lead (though it seem to be less) to defend for the 4th innings. Can Bangladesh bowlers defend and win the 1st test or will New zealand chase down the target like they did last December against Bangladesh in 1st test.

Must win match for Lahore Badshahs who are yet to win a match here in 2nd season of IPL. With so many international stars it should not be difficult for them to handle pressure.

Aussies find themselves in a similar situation or even worse like their 1st innings in 1st test and top order batting concerns keep growing. India who resumed their innings on Day 2 managed to add 150+ runs at a good run rate to take the game away from Aussies before they got all out. Zaheer started the spell for India and picked Hayden in 1st over opening the doors and debutant Amit Mishra exploited the pitch to pick another two wickets while Ishant got Ricky leaving Australia at 102/4 at end of Day 2 with Mike Hussey at crease. Good chance for India to enforce follow on if they can pick another couple of wickets in the morning session.

New Zealand may hve restricted Bangladesh for just 245 but what a come back by Bangladesh by picking 9 Kiwi wickets for just 155 runs. Currently New Zealand trail by 90 runs with Captain at the crease who will try to bat and reduce the trial margin as much as he can. Shakib really rocked New Zealand by picking six wickets. Bangladehs should be looking forward to pick the last one soon and resume 2nd innings to post a target around 300+.
Coming to the live cricket streaming links, I doubt if there will be any links like other two days.

Both these teams had played excellent cricket so far and I still remember Sarabjeet’s innings against Mumbai to win almost lost match for Chandigarh Lions. I hope both teams continue to play good cricket and put up a good show tonight.
