After looking at the Bangladesh performance in last match against Australia in which Bangladesh could not even score 100, I’m losing trust in them day after day about their winning chances and I don’t even remember when they won their last ODI match and the best I could remember is World Cup 2007. The real problem for them is poor batting, bowling is okay with Shahadat going all guns blazing right from South Africa tour but no one from batting could deliver a good innings till date from then.

If Aussies manage to win this one (Which I think they will), they not only win the series but also chance for Whitewash.

Now that England has won ODI series 3-0 and with another 2 matches remaining, England will try to win the next two matches as well to sweep the series 5-0 (Weather permitting).

South Africa players will be under pressure not only because they lost the 1st three matches but also because of the recent comments made by their coach about selection. Anyways everyone will try their best to secure their place in team and pressure might help them.

Bangladesh will be playing Australia and New Zealand for next couple months and hoping to look for change in fortunes. They have not won single match(Both ODI and Test Cricket) against major cricket playing nation in last 1 year and they will be desperate to register at least one win during this tour. Bangladesh will play 3 ODI’s against Aussies before they move to NZ to take part in 3 ODI Match series and 2 Test Matches.

Clarke will lead the side in absence of Punter. Despite Ponting and Hayden’s absence, I don’t think Bangladesh will give a fight and stand a chance against Aussies in Australia. (Ashraful did challenge them once in 2002(?) with batting but he is in very poor form both as batsman and captain)

Who would have thought India will win the ODI series after losing test series and 1st match of the ODI series, but Dhoni’s men did the job in three straight matches and India won the series 3-1. Sri Lanka would be hoping to win this match and make it 3-2 rather than losing 4-1.

India’s next match is against Australia (Australia tour of India for 4 match test series) on 9th Oct ( 04:00 hrs GMT), till then bye to folks who follow only Indian cricket and others we will see you during Australia vs Bangladesh(which begins in another 16hrs) and England vs SA matches.

England lead the 5 match ODI series with 2-0 and all they need is to win one of the rest three matches to win the series and looking the way SA is playing, it should not be tough task for England. Good overall performance and captain leading from the front fetched England a win in 1st ODI. Collingwood who missed last ODI (Due to slow over rate in previous series) will be back in side today. Proteas might be strengthened by return of morkel brothers and that should give them enough confidence boost to go into the 2nd game.

India lead the series 2-1 and have good chance of winning the series. Sri Lanka need to win this match to stay alive in the series.  Both the teams have of batting concerns to deal with and most of the time it was one mans show till now and looking forward to see that changing today and also hope for a big score.
