ODI series seems promising after WI levelling the Test series and winning the 2nd test comprehensively.
At the time of posting this WI right on top of the game and restricted SL to 57/5 after 17 overs and it would take lot of character for Sri Lanka to recover from this point.
Testing times for Bangladesh again, over last 3 months they had played couple of tests and ODI series against SA, NZ and Ireland. They lost all the matches played against SA and NZ very badly and won all the matches against the Ireland which clearly shows there is lot of room for improvement and fans have to wait for some-more time before they take Bangladesh out of minnows list. The real problem for Bangladesh is their batting which is not up to the mark and has no consistency whatsoever .
Pakistan on the otherside had done reasonably well in the recent past and the only issue they had to deal is the ban of Shoaib. Anyways thats not a real concern as they had played lot of cricket without him over last couple of years. One thing I would like to see from Pak is stabilizing their top order(openers).

Coming to the match, everyone knows whats gonna happen here in next one or two days. Day 2 did not change any fortunes for India and proteas dominated all the sessions till now. And by the time we turned up here, South Africa declares which was on cards anyways and India lost Sehwag already.

If you had noticed the timings, match is expected to start 30 mins earlier today becuase of early closure of play yesterday due to rain.
After winning the toss and chose to bat, SL got off to a steady start with openers before wicket fell in heap. Dilshan and Silva played very well to make sure Sri Lanka has decent runs on board.

Hmph 76 all out, gotta kiddin me with world class batting lineup and home conditions. Anways that was an excellent performance from Proteas bowlers(especially Steyn and Ntini) on Day 1 of 2nd Test and good batting display compared to the opposition who got out in just 20 overs scoring 76.
SA lead by almost 150 runs at the end of Day 1 with another 6 wickets in hand and if they can push the lead beyond 300 in 1st innings then India have to fight real hard to stay in the game.

Neverthought 1st test will go so far after watching first couple of day and it was fun watching the last session of Day 5. Anyways lets hope this one will also be as interesting as the other one and we have stable links to watch the match online.

Thanks to few people(Curator, Dravid, McKenzie) that match ended up as a draw even after sehwags fastest triple hundred in record books and what seemed to be a one sided match on Day 2 and 3 ended up as a draw. Actually that talks a lot about Pitch more than Proteas batting skills against Spinners
Let’s hope for good cricket for next 5 days.
