New Zealand will be under pressure after losing ODI series badly to South Africa and then Chappell Hadlee trophy to make sure they won’t lose even a single match against Bangladesh and get humiliated more at home.

Bangladesh had already opened their tour on winning note in a charity T20 match against New Zealand XI team and Flemming had already warned the New Zealand camp to be careful with the tourists who can beat any team on their day.

If anyone is following English media then yoy must have see how bad the criticism has gone upto, even the gusy who never played more than 25 international matches also passing some rubbish comments about the England team. Seriously doubt the public reception they get when they land for Christmas holiday.

Anyways they have one final chance to show some real character and save the match(may be with the help of rain gods) though it seems very unlikely with Murali and Day 5 pitch.

I don’t think there is much left in this match and the obvious result seem to be draw after the snail paced inning from Jayawardene and the total below 400 after 2 days. I guess thats one of the boring innings I’ve seen lately.

But thats what the attitude from Asian teams, when they go up in the series early they will make sure they will close all the doors for the opposition to even smell a chance.

A miracle is needed in this match to produce any kind of a result.

Team India gets one chance to adjust to the Australian playing conditions before they get into the real action against Aussies from 26th. They have been playing lot of cricket from past 3 months at home and this is a much required match to adjust to the Aussies pitches which are unique in a way it produce bounce and add extra pace to the delivery.

Not sure whether we will get the links to watch this but be assured if its there on internet somewhere then it will be here as well.

New Zealand was so lucky to escape losing the last match after a disastrous start they got and thanks to the rain that this series has some life, though New Zealand can’t win the series they still have a chance to level the series. Taity also need to prove a point to Ponting for the upcoming series with India starting next week.

I hope NZ will make use of the chance they got and put some fight.

The commentary team and the english press thought England dominated Day 1 but I think it was more a balanced day and Sri Lanka is not in any kind of hurry to win this match and they will be happy even if they can pull out the draw.

If England wants to have any chances of levelling the series then they should be looking forward to make use of the 1st session and possibly get SL out before Tea.

Galle will be hosting an International cricket match after almost 3yrs which is almost rebuilt after Tsunami destruction. None of the teams have idea of the new conditions so toss may be a gamble. Also it had rained heavily past few days which delayed the start by 2 hrs today. Sri Lanka is already leading the series by 1-0 and England need a victory to level the series in this final match while Sri Lanka will be happy with either Draw or a Win.

Its very unlikely England can win here in Sri Lanka but who knows England can put up a fight and show some character.
