Sri Lanka won very comfortably in the 1st ODI with a huge margin and mostly due to decent bowling and pathetic batting display from England. Sri Lanka was never been on top of game until Englands 1st wicket collapsed, either with bowl or bat. Full credits to Mahroof who used the pitch to its best with some good slow and swing bowling. England in form batsman Ian Bell failed and England collapsed, this was the case during the India tour of England as well. They need to rethink their batting strategies and middle order need to take responsibility.I hope England will put some decent batting performance and their big guns fire to make much bit interesting.

Things to notice was during post match presentation, Jayawardene mentioned their bowlers did a great job but lot of room left for improvisation in Batting department, If that was the case then what England has to do with bat ??
