Australia will be without services of Ponting today, which mean Gilchrist will captain the side. Aussies winning percentage without Ponting is lot less compared to ponting presence in team(Be it as captain or a player). Aussies had excuse of being rusty to play down the T20 exit in semifinals but now they don’t have it. Also Aussies has major challenge to adapt Indian conditions. Can Hayden repeat his stunts of walking down the ground and trashing each and every bowler over the park again on the same indian soil like he did way back in 2001/2002???

On the other hand new(so called cool) captain Dhoni have a major job to lead India against Mighty Aussies in his first assignment in ODI format. Will be interesting to see his tactics and how he handles this. If he can keep his cool and produce good results then he will have long distance to go for sure. Also it will be interesting to see how the senior Trio perform today, they will be under tremendous pressure to perform after young team won the T20 Wc.

Overall it should be a good contest to see how both team performs.

What a cricket match we have on cards today, India vs Pakistan in a finals of World Cup, nothing can get better than this. Looking at the way India is going particularly the Singh trio (Yuvraj/Bhajji/RP), I have to say India are favorites but with Pakistan and a pressure of final match you never know. Last 3 matches India won more because of batting only with scores above 180+. Pakistan never made such high scores but they defended or chased very will with what they have(160 kind of stuff)

Expect this to be cracker with millions of fans watching with lot of hope anticipating their team to win today.

Afridi, Nazir, Malik, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Dhoni, Asif, Tanvir, Umar Gul, RP Singh, Harbhajan are the key men to keep an eye on for today’s match

Wow what a turnaround to the series, SA and SL are knocked out of the tournament. SL exit was bit expected when they are supposed to play wounded Aussies but SA exit is shocker to many. SA played very poor cricket yesterday with pathetic feilding followed by dismal batting performance. Credit to Indian bowlers even they had bowled some wides, which needs to be improved if they have to stand any chance against Aussies.

India have to win against mighty Aussies to goto the finals to meet either Pakistan or New Zealand. Australia will be playing without services from Ponting and Watson. India hope to play Yuvraj and also dhoni who had problems with back during the match yesterday.

Aussies know only one way to win the matches, go for the kill. Will Team india surrender themselves to mighty Aussies, we need to wait and see.

All India need is couple of good batting performances from likes of Sehwag,Dhoni or Yuvraj to completely take away game from Aussies.

New Zealand was so lucky that India trashed SA with huge Margin to let them through group stages. Both teams are looking solid and none of them started as favorites but as the tour went on they have become favorites. Good thing is both teams are winning matches due to all round performance.

Pakistan may be without service of Asif who may miss due to injury.It would be interesting to see how NZ face tanvir. I believe Afridi, Vettori and Mc Millan are the 3 key players to keep an eye on.

We had one hell of a match between India and England, India dominated right from the word go but England didn’t give up. The only difference between two innings were Yuvraj’s 6 6’s in one over. Even the match between NZ and SA was superb, Kemp made sure SA is home comfortably.Today we have 3 matches and two of them decide which teams will go into semis.

First one is a straight knockout between Australia and Sri Lanka, where winner makes it to next round and loser go back to Asia(Ind/SL) for the next series. It should be very interesting to see how SL face Aussies bowlers. They struggled against Pakistan who has got good bowling line up.

2nd one is just a dumb game between Pakistan and Bangladesh, Pakistan is already in Semis but want to keep the winning momentum. Bangladesh will look forward to produce one more surprise.

Finally we have host nation south africa taking against India. SA would most likely to make it to Semis even if they lose decently. NZ team will be more interested in this match more than SA and India, if India wins NZ will be out which no one expected till yesterday.

Two crucuial matches today, if SA wins against kiwis then the task for getting into Semi-Finals will become easy for them.

Indians need a victory here at any cost or else they may be very well out of the tournament and same with England which still has chance mathematically. If SA wins today then its almost certain that New Zealand and South Africa will go to next round of Semi finals.

Though we had only one match yesterday it was so interesting, Pakistan losing early wickets and a recovered with good partnership between Younis and Malik. 1st over they dropped jayasuriya but picked up in the next over 1st ball by tanvir. Good cricket all around from both Pakistan and SL but Pak came on high.Today we have 3 crucial matches, In the 1st one England plays against New Zealand in a must win match. If England lose they are out and the bad news for England is Matt Prior is injured and may not take gloves.

In the 2nd match Pakistan will play against Mighty Aussies and whoever wins will cement their place in Semifinals. If sometime can upset Aussies when they are on top, it has got to be either SA or Pak.

In the 3rd match Sri Lanka will play against Bangladesh and its a must win game for both the teams. Can Bangladesh spring a surprise again??

We have only one cricket match today played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka trashed Kenya by creating a record of highest number of runs in an innings in T20 cricket. Pakistan is doing good with Ball more than a bat but they lost the last match in a bowl out which will be playing one their minds and chasing strategy will be given a thought.We expect to have a great match.

Last 2 days we were extremely busy, we couldn’t even watch a single match. But now we are back and we make sure all the visitors on this site will get to see all the rest of the matches for the rest of T20 Cup.

We have completed all the group matches and there was not much surprise except the Bangladesh knocking off WI to get into super 8’s. Excellent cricket from Bangladesh.

India just had only one match till now and they will play New Zealand today who lost to Sri Lanka yesterday. Should be an exciting one when two teams of similar nature compete.

In the 2nd match mighty Aussies will play against surprise package Bangladesh. Looking at the Aus vs Eng match, it will be difficult to beat them but you cannot say when Bangladesh is playing and that to 20 over match any thin can happen.

And the day ends with two favorites of the tournament, SA and Eng will play against each other. Should be one hell of a match.

Oh boy, what a match it was between India and pakistan. Cannot ask/even dream of better match than that. Great show by both the teams, pak lost its plan and goofed up and india capitalized.

No we know who goes into the Super 8’s but still we have 2 matches left in this group stages.

1st one between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, and it should be a great match for sure.

2nd one is South Africa takes on Bangladesh, Can Bangladesh do it again?? All they need is two batting performances
