Smith must be repenting about his decission at toss to put England to bat. England made full use of the pitch and scored 300+ on day 1 without losing many wickets. With still KP and Bell at crease England would fancy a score beyond 500. If SA can get couple of wickets in the early session of the game, they can restrict England below 500.
I’m sure KP’s hundred did hurt Smith more than England’s performance on day 1

After winning their last test series against New Zealand, England will be looking forward to repeat the same heroics against South Africa as well and if they succeed in that they might even move up to 2nd position in test rankings( Depending on Indians performance against Sri Lanka). Flintoff may get chance later in the series if he keeps himself fit throughout the series.
South Africa would be expecting their experienced batting line up to fire and young pace attack of Steyn and Morkel to live up to the expectations.

After watching last couple of matches, I’ve zero hopes on West Indies winning here today. All I expect from West Indies is to play some good competitive cricket.
New Zealand leads the series 2-1 after winning a controversial match few days back after which Collingwood was suspended for 4 matches due to slow over rate. Kevin Peitersen will be leading England team for the first time and has a major task in front of him to win and level the series 2 - 2. New Zealand can win the series if they win today or match ends up in draw.
No one would have expected WI to lose by huge margin in 1st ODI after watching them in tests and only T20. Aussies has done exceptional job with both bat and bowl in the last match and they would hope to repeat the similar or even better performance while WI would like to play some competitive cricket.
Exceptional performance from Southie, Mills, Elliot in a low scoring match helped New Zealand to level the series 1-1 and whichever team wins today will have oppurtunity to leve the series. Jacob Oram may play today and boost New Zealand’s chances of winning today.

West Indies had done a decent job in Test series even though they had lost it, they made Aussies sweat for the win and all matches have gone till 5th day and follwed it up with victory in T20. West Indies will be hoping to play good cricket and if possible win the series while Aussies will try to dominate and win the series comfortably. Should be an exciting contest.

It has almost become a tradition to have atleast one T20 every tour and today Australia and West Indies play in only T20 of this tour of Australia to West Indies. West Indies will miss Gayle while Shaun Marsh who was very impressive in IPL will get a chance to play for his country. Both the teams will have some new faces and would be a interesting contest.
